The pathway assesses evidence, maturity, practice, delivery, leadership and contribution across four levels: ASE-LSSE, CSE-LSSE, PSE-LSSE and FSE-LSSE.
ASE-LSSE
Portfolio submission and administrative review
Assessment fee to be approved by management
Early-stage practitioners often need a credible way to demonstrate that they are taking social enterprise seriously. ASE-LSSE provides entry-level recognition for individuals who have completed relevant learning or developed a foundation portfolio showing early understanding of social enterprise practice.
CSE-LSSE
Portfolio, case study, presentation and review
Assessment route, not a taught course
CSE-LSSE recognises practitioners who can demonstrate more than intention. Applicants must show evidence of social enterprise practice, project discipline, stakeholder understanding, delivery logic, resource planning and accountability.
PSE-LSSE
Portfolio review, case studyÂ
Assessment route, not a taught course
PSE-LSSE recognises practitioners who have moved beyond early-stage work and can evidence sustained delivery, beneficiaries, partnerships, income, grants, contracts or institutional engagement. It is designed for individuals with a stronger practice record and leadership responsibility.
FSE-LSSE
Evidence dossier, references and panel approval
Nomination or application route
FSE-LSSE is LSSE’s senior recognition for individuals who have made significant contributions to social enterprise, philanthropy, civic leadership, impact investment or ecosystem development. It should be selective, evidence-led and reputation-sensitive.
LSSE post-nominals represent institutional recognition by LSSE and do not represent statutory licensing, chartered status or government-regulated professional authorisation.
